Sacred place of the Palermo gastronomic tradition, the Osteria Lo Bianco in via E.Amari,104 celebrates its first 90 years and recalls its origins. From an old stable, in 1931 it first opened as a tavern.
From the years following the Second War, the area was very popular with building reconstruction workers and from Lo Bianco you could see many tables of workers, real shared tables d'hôte, refresh themselves with traditional popular dishes, typical Sicilian cuisine .
In 2011, 80 years after the first opening, the Osteria Lo Bianco was taken over by the current owner, who manages it while preserving its traditional imprint, without renouncing some innovations introduced by the Chef, also strictly from Palermo.
